Tripoli, Libya - October 1, 2024: Super Novae, an NGO acting in Libya since 2021 and dedicated to fostering innovation and economic development, will hold a DEMO DAY at the Innovation Garden incubator in Tripoli as part of the USAID-funded Libya Economic Acceleration Project (LEAP – Aqfuz), implemented by Chemonics International. The event will bring together Libyan entrepreneurs and potential investors to explore opportunities for business collaboration and growth, with a focus on fostering economic development in Libya.

The DEMO DAY will feature presentations from entrepreneurs showcasing their business ideas in sectors ranging from technology to agriculture. The aim is to introduce start-ups to potential investors, banks for financing working capital, and customers to increase sales. This approach ensures more realistic connections between stakeholders, fostering relationships that can lead to sustainable business growth.

Innovation Garden is an incubator in Tripoli launched by the Tadawul Financial Group with the financial and technical assistance of Super-Novae, in the framework of its Libya Start-Up project funded by the European Union and co-implemented with Spark.

By hosting the DEMO DAY at Innovation Garden, Super-Novae is bridging entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship programs it is implementing with different funding and technical partners, in order to create bonds and synergies in the innovation ecosystem in Libya, convinced that entrepreneurs are stronger together!

This DEMO DAY is part of the broader USAID LEAP – Aqfuz project, which aims to strengthen the Libyan economy by supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and fostering closer ties between the public and private sectors. The event is one of several efforts to facilitate the growth of local businesses in a challenging economic environment.
