Fairtrade Coffee Farmer Zeddy Rotich explains why governments at COP26 need to listen to farmers now

Representatives of 1.8 million Fairtrade farmers have signed a letter asking the politicians at COP26 to be fair with their $100bn finance promise by investing in smallholder farmers who are the worse affected by the climate crisis and by listening to their expertise. In this video, Zeddy Rotich, coffee farmer at Kabngetuny Co-op in Kenya, explains why it is so important that governments act now and that they listen to the farming experts on the frontline of the crisis. Filmed in October 2021 ahead of COP26 which takes place in Glasgow in November. Add your name to support farmers' ask: fairtrade.org.uk/be-fair #BeFairCOP26 Coffee Farmer
