San Jose, CA. — Dave Blakey, Co-CEO and founder of Snapt, is pleased to announce Snapt’s commitment to support Envoy Gateway, which was announced by the Envoy community at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon today.
Designed to function as a native Kubernetes ingress controller for Envoy, Envoy Gateway is considered the missing link between the Envoy and Kubernetes solution and external north-south traffic.
Snapt Nova will fully support Envoy Gateway to ensure that users can leverage the advanced Nova Web Application & API Protection (WAAP), multi-location availability, and visibility features along with Envoy Gateway’s standardized interface for Kubernetes ingress. Including a modern web GUI and full REST API, Snapt allows users to deploy, monitor, and automate in whichever way they prefer.
Following the Envoy community’s progress closely, Snapt will extend Nova’s AI-powered Layer 7 HTTP/S security, bot protection, threat intelligence, autoscaling application services, and detailed application visibility to Envoy users via Envoy Gateway.
Currently, Snapt is attending KubeCon Europe until May 20th and is available to provide further insight into their one-of-a-kind solution at booth S32 on the show floor or at their virtual booth here.
Snapt Nova is a cloud-native and container-friendly application services platform providing load balancing and WAAP security on-demand for Kubernetes ingress. Snapt Nova’s centralized control plane and lightweight data plane worker nodes enable scaling, security, and visibility in multi-cloud, multi-location, and extensive enterprise installations.
