MOBILIZE DUO IN BRIEF
- Futuristic styling with gullwing doors
- Ultra-compact format (2.43 m x 1.3 m) to slip in and out of traffic and park easily
- Charging from a standard 220 V domestic socket and a range of 161 km (on Duo 45 Neo), one of the best in its class
- Onboard BoomBox®, an all-in-one sound system delivering all-round sound
- MyDuo app to control everything and generate six digital keys
- Driver airbag, a feature unique in the quadricycle segment
The Mobilize Bento microvan offers a range of 149 km with storage capacity of nearly 1 m³.
For the launch of these quadricycles, Mobilize joined forces with Razorfish, a member of Publicis Groupe, to create a 360° campaign (film, print, activation) targeting a young, urban audience.
NO NEED TO BE BIG TO BE BOLD
In this new film, Mobilize Duo sidesteps the hazards of our congested cities. The action is set to a revisited version of “Big City Life”, the iconic track by Mattafix.
Mobilize Duo can deal with anything: traffic, deliveries or cramped parking spaces. In this fast-paced film, Duo slips in and out of traffic, dodging obstacles to neatly back into a parking space, making the urban jungle its playground. The ad ends with the tagline “No need to be big to bold”, a reminder that you can get yourself noticed... without taking up too much space.
The film was directed by James F. Coton, a specialist in automotive films. An expert in camera movements, lighting and pace, he skillfully combines the arts of video and cinema.
Alongside the film shoot, a photo shoot was organised with German photographer Andreas Hempel.
A responsible vehicle requires a responsible production process. To this end, an eco-lead consultant was present throughout the project to ensure compliance with the standards of Publicis Groupe in terms of carbon emissions. By giving preference to rail travel and the rental of equipment, 21 tonnes of CO2 equivalent were saved during the production process.
Watch the film:
The film can be seen on the Mobilize stand at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. It also launched on Mobilize social media on October 14, and will be broadcast on TV from January 2025.
At the same time, Mobilize is launching a gaming experience – Mobilize Duo The Game – in collaboration with The New Face studio and Razorfish. Developed using the game engine Unreal Engine, the game puts players in the role of a Mobilize Duo driver facing three key urban protagonists: a removal man, a grandmother and a friend in a hurry. The aim for the drivers is to find their way around the narrow streets, find parking spaces and avoid traffic jams.
An immersive adventure with simple, intuitive gameplay, drawing on both rhythm games and narrative experiences. The game is available on the Mobilize stand at the 2024 Paris Motor Show and online: https://duothegame.mobilize.fr/
“The launch of Duo and Bento is a major step forward in the brand strategy of Mobilize to develop solutions for affordable, safe and sustainable mobility. We are delighted with this campaign, which reflects the bold, creative and urban DNA of these micro-vehicles, raising awareness of the Mobilize brand and the role it is keen to play in the mobility of the future.”
