The Supervisory Board of Framatome met today under the chairmanship of Bernard Fontana, Chairman and CEO of EDF, and appointed Bénédicte Formstecher as Managing Director of Framatome, member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer, with effect from October 1, 2025.
Bénédicte Formstecher will report to Grégoire Ponchon, CEO of Framatome, and become a member of Framatome's Executive Committee. As Managing Director, the Legal and Compliance, Risk and Audit, Insurance, and Mergers and Acquisitions functions report directly to her.
Following her initial education as an engineer specialized in advanced technologies and as a scientist in applied mathematics, Bénédicte Formstecher has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector and within the EDF Group, which she joined in 1997. After having held various positions in risk management, audit, and commercial activities at EDF and EDF Energy, in 2020 she was appointed Finance, Regulation and Energy Transition Director for EDF Insular Energy Systems.
