From November 3 to 6, Framatome Defense will be at the Euronaval international exhibition in Paris Nord Villepinte to showcase its expertise and innovations in support of defense. Framatome is one of the key companies contributing to the industrial and technological base of the defense sector, particularly its naval component.
Framatome has been putting its expertise at the service of the defense industry for decades. The company supplies components for the French Navy's nuclear propulsion, including the SSBN and SSN programs, as well as for aircraft carriers. Today, Framatome is a key industrial player in major ongoing programs such as the third generation SSBN and the France Libre aircraft carrier.
On a daily basis, Framatome provides the French Navy and the defense sector with capabilities in several key areas: complex engineering for military port infrastructures and onboard nuclear vessel equipments, forged and machined parts, mobile equipments (primary pumps and their electric motors), steam generator tubes, safety and relief valves, nuclear fuel components, instrumentation and control command systems, as well as cybersecurity solutions.
In both military and civilian nuclear industries, Framatome implements innovations and deploys cutting edge technologies, such as AI for data analysis and additive manufacturing (3D metal printing) for the production of complex metal parts of any size.
“We are proud to contribute our commitment and expertise to the sovereignty and performance of the defense sector,” says Grégoire Ponchon, CEO of Framatome.
For François Billot, Executive Vice President – Offers & Projects at Framatome and Director of Framatome Defense, “Framatome's significant investments in the defense sector ensure that we can provide our customers with sovereign solutions throughout the entire lifespan of defense programs.”
A wide range of products, solutions and innovations will be displayed and detailed at the Framatome Defense stand during the Euronaval international exhibition, from November 3 to 6. Framatome representatives will take part in workshops dedicated to cybersecurity (November 3rd) and industrial sovereignty (November 4th). November 6th will be devoted to welcoming students and answering their questions about job openings and the profiles Framatome is looking for, as the company still plans to hire nearly 2 500 people in 2027.
