COMMISSIONING IN MARCH IN LESS THAN 5 MONTHS OF WORK

GreenYellow, a leader in decentralized energy transition, has commissioned a 700kWp photovoltaic solar plant at the production site of Dupol Next (Sacchital Group), a flexible packaging company specializing in the design and production of multilayer films and materials for the food, hygiene, and industrial sectors, in Zanica (Italy). Delivered in less than five months under a self-consumption agreement, this installation covers a significant share of the site’s energy needs while reducing its carbon footprint.

This project illustrates GreenYellow's commitment to supporting manufacturers in their energy transition through turnkey, 100% financed solutions, combining environmental performance, cost optimization and industrial competitiveness.

A 700 kWp solar self-consumption plant

Installed on the roof, the plant was developed under a 20-year self-consumption contract. Made up of more than 1,300 photovoltaic panels, it will generate 800 MWh of renewable electricity per year, covering over 18% of the site’s energy needs.
The project will also avoid the emission of more than 335 tons of CO₂ annually, equivalent to the yearly electricity consumption of more than 400 households.

A project delivered ahead of schedule

Delivered in less than five months after the start of construction and just nine months after the agreement was signed, the project was completed ahead of the original schedule. This performance confirms GreenYellow’s ability to ensure fast, well-controlled execution in line with high standards of quality and health, safety, and environment (HSE) throughout the development cycle.

Comprehensive support

GreenYellow handled the entire project: studies, design, construction, and commissioning of the plant. The company will also ensure the operation and maintenance of the installation over the full duration of the contract.

This model allows Dupol Next to immediately benefit from local renewable energy, with tangible gains in terms of reduced energy costs and carbon footprint.

“This project represents a new step in the decarbonization of industry, close to local territories. We are proud to support Dupol Next and the Sacchital Group in their journey toward energy independence through tailor-made solutions adapted to their operational needs,” says Pierre Marouby, General Manager of GreenYellow Italia.

For his part, Alberto Luppi, President of Dupol Next (Saccital Group), adds: “We are pleased to have completed this project on time and to start renewable energy production at our Zanica site. This initiative is a concrete step in our industrial sustainability strategy, with tangible environmental and energy benefits.”

GreenYellow thus confirms its role as a reference partner for the energy transition in the European industrial fabric.
