As a guest at the Xposure International Photography Festival, Adler took the opportunity to marvel at the work of researchers firsthand at the Sharjah Marine Science Research Center. A pioneering institution, dedicated to exploring the richness of the UAE’s marine environment.
In addition to science, both photographers, Adler and Lecoeur, place their hope for the oceans in the education of young people.

“It's very important to go with the kids and to. To teach them where they are living and what is around and what the connection is because we are all connected with nature and we are making big impacts.”
Both Adler and Lecoeur not only exhibited their photos at Xposure but also took part in the Conservation Summit. Under this year's title “Troubled Waters,” they discussed solutions for ocean conservation with Oscar-winning filmmaker Pippa Ehrlich and wildlife photographer Shane Gross.
