This week, the Government officially launches the "repair bonus," a boost of €10 to €45, to encourage French citizens to no longer throw away their electrical and electronic devices but instead to have them repaired.

We have the opportunity to welcome Guy Pezaku, co-founder of Murfy, a French startup specializing in home repair and reconditioning of large household appliances.

According to Murfy, the vast majority of devices they encounter are repairable (only 6% of devices would not be) and appliance repair would represent a 62% saving. So, it's another way to combine economy and ecology. Yet, the impulse to buy new prevails for many users.

All the more reason to discuss with the entrepreneur to understand the reasons behind these purchasing behaviors, as well as Murfy's approach to addressing them. We'll also delve into the training of their repair technicians, especially amid a labor shortage, and the recyclability of household appliances.
