57% of French people say they distrust what the media says about major news topics, according to the latest La Croix barometer of French trust in the media.
In a context where misinformation and distrust towards journalists are high, how can we foster an interest in staying informed? And more importantly, what tools should be provided to navigate through this flood of news? These are the missions of the association "Entre les lignes" (Between the Lines), founded in 2010.
This week, things are moving in the media with Fanny Lattach, former journalist at AFP and now deputy director of this association.
Today, "Entre les lignes" has a network of around 250 volunteer journalists, from partner newsrooms (AFP, Groupe le Monde, Contexte), committed to media education. These information professionals mainly work within educational institutions but also outside of them.
