How do you evolve an iconic weekly without betraying its DNA? Launched in 1949, Paris Match relies on “the power of words, the impact of photos” to tell the story of the world, sometimes shaking things up. But at a time when print media is declining and celebrities control their own narratives on social networks, the magazine has no choice but to reinvent itself. Since its acquisition by LVMH last October, the title has set a new roadmap: to bring the brand to life across all platforms, without losing what makes it unique. On social media, the momentum is underway: 12 dedicated staff, over 7 million followers, and 616 million video views in May alone. But the transformation doesn’t stop there: Paris Match also wants to exist well beyond print and digital, notably through events and parties to embody the brand differently.

A transformation told from the inside, in our latest episode before the summer break.

Jérôme Béglé, CEO, publishing director, and editorial director of Paris Match, is our guest on the podcast “Ça bouge dans les médias.” 20 minutes of interview to help you understand their challenges.

On the agenda:

🔵 Joining the LVMH group
🔵 Catching up on a “massive delay” in digital
🔵 Embracing the impact of photos
🔵 Expanding the brand “beyond its walls”
